Administrative, P.R., Management, and Curator Positions require substantial field experience, whether at the AEF or another raptor/wildlife organization, and a four-year degree.

Winter/Spring 2017 Marketing, P.R. & Social Media Internship Program
The AEF is looking to hire a part-time, paid Marketing, P.R., & Social Media intern with the potential to be hired as an Assistant Marketing, P.R., & Social Media Coordinator.
Required Prerequisites: Must be a legal resident of the United States; 4-year degree.
Desired Job Prerequisites: Preference will be given to candidates with: proficient grammar and creative-writing skills; photo editing and graphics design experience; photography, videography, and video editing experience; social media management and communications abilities; knowledge of marketing and advertising; and/or experience with the WordPress platform.

2017 Summer Internship Program
Each year, the AEF invites current university students and recent graduates to apply for our Summer Internship Program. 2-3 interns will actively work with our non-releasable birds, feed our Eagles on Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, work on special projects with AEF’s Marketing Coordinator, perform in our educational Wings of America birds-of-prey show, and get first hand experience banding/tagging/caring for our captive-hatched eaglets that are released into the wild from our hack tower on Douglas Lake each summer.
Internships are unpaid, but a weekly stipend is offered to help offset basic living expenses. Interns are also provided with assistance in securing housing, although housing is the responsibility of the intern. Interns must be able to provide their own transportation.

Volunteers help further the mission of the American Eagle Foundation. You MUST be a Sevier County/East Tennessee resident and be able to commit to a weekly or bimonthly volunteer schedule.
