Mikie is a male Harris’s Hawk, sometimes called a Baywing Hawk. He was hatched in captivity in 1991, and at approximately ten days old was placed in the nest of a Golden Eagle breeding pair at the American Eagle Foundation.
He can be seen doing free flights in the ‘Wings of America’ birds of prey show at Dollywood Entertainment Park in Pigeon Forge, TN.
