The 2017 “So The World May Hear” Starkey Gala set a record attendance, and once again, the AEF and Bald Eagle Mr. Lincoln played an important part.
The 2017 Chatter Reunion and celebration of American Eagle Day was filled with adventure, good times, good food, a fantastic auction & dinner, and an education experience that will be remembered for years to come!
The country owes thanks to Al Cecere, the volunteers and staff at the American Eagle Foundation, and to the many volunteers, conservation agency staffers, and other nonprofit organizations doing their best every day to keep an eagle eye on the raptor populations and make sure the majestic Bald Eagle and other birds of prey are with us long into the future.
On April 27th, Challenger the Bald Eagle and the American Eagle Foundation team traveled to Washington D.C. to participate in an educational presentation given by Joe Santiago. While in DC, the American Eagle Foundation took the opportunity to campaign for American Eagle Day! We visited the new Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, our own Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander, and other various USDA offices.
