The American Eagle Foundation (AEF) will celebrate American Eagle Day Saturday, June 16, at Dollywood, and we hope you will join us there to commemorate the anniversary of the selection of the Bald Eagle as our National Symbol and to celebrate its physical recovery to America’s skies.

A fish was brought to the nest by one of the parent eagles that had spinner bait with a hook and braided line attached to it. One of the eaglets swallowed the hook.
