A Day of Global Generosity

Giving Tuesday is the non-profit’s answer to Black Friday and Cyber Monday in that it empowers communities to transform their world through charitable giving.

In the words of Giving Tuesday’s organization, “Giving Tuesday reimagines a world build upon shared humanity and generosity.”

At American Eagle Foundation, we similarly seek to positively transform the world by conserving the bald eagle and all birds of prey. Each donation helps us protect these incredible raptors for generations to come.

“WHEN YOU GIVE TO AEF,

WE GIVE BACK TO CONSERVATION.”

More than ever, your charitable donations will help shape the future of our non-profit foundation and the reach of our conservation and education missions.

You Give, We Conserve

Our Conservation Mission wouldn’t soar to such great heights without our community.

Over the course of American Eagle Foundation’s history, charitable giving has allowed us to return the bald eagle to Tennessee’s skies, support declining barn owl populations, rehabilitate hundreds of eagles and other raptors, help address the ongoing vulture crises overseas, install monofilament receptacles to prevent wildlife entanglement, host river cleanups to protect bald eagle habitats, and educate millions on how to join us in protecting birds of prey.

The Bald Eagle Research Grant is one of many ways that AEF uses charitable giving to give back to conservation.

This Giving Tuesday, we are celebrating American Eagle Foundation’s contribution of 1 million dollars over the past ten years to our Bald Eagle Research Grant.

“TEN YEARS, ONE MILLION DOLLARS SUPPORTED IN BALD EAGLE RESEARCH.”

Research supported by this grant has significantly improved our understanding of the risks posed by lead, wind energy, and other factors impacting bald eagle populations.

Such research informs effective conservation actions for the American Eagle Foundation and other organizations across the country.

Ways to Give

Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 dollars.

These proceeds will support Project Eagle, our brand-new facility. At Project Eagle, AEF will contribute to raptor research and conservation on an even larger scale.

Donate. Donate directly on our website. Viewers may also donate during our Facebook Livestream on Giving Tuesday (November 29, 2022). Facebook matches a portion of proceeds, so this is a great way of doubling your impact.

Purchase. American Eagle Foundation has once again partnered with David Yellowhorse to create a limited-edition, highly collectable knife.

This fixed-blade buck knife features a honey jasper, white turquoise, and jet hilt with American Eagle Foundation’s Project Eagle logo and mission pillars on a notched blade.

Each knife comes with its own David Yellowhorse walnut display stand. You’ll want to show off this exquisite work of art!

For those seeking to get into the holiday spirit, AEF is proud to present our very first (Not) Ugly Christmas sweater! This sweater is a perfect gift for the bird nerd in your life, or you can even wear it yourself to be the envy of the flock at an ugly Christmas sweater party.
