Through the end of 2015, the AEF has participated in the Grand Openings of 17 Field & Stream stores, accompanied by Bald Eagles ‘Challenger,’ ‘Mr. Lincoln,’ and ‘Spirit.’
To assist the AEF in the work they do, Field & Stream has donated about $120,000 to the AEF. Also, because of this relationship, the AEF has received public exposure in multiple states in the eastern United States and has had opportunities at these grand openings to educate many people about the Bald Eagle, the dangers it faces, and the need for continued vigilance and protection.
Field & Stream also benefits from this partnership. People are inspired by our Nation’s Living Symbol, and the opportunity to see a magnificent Bald Eagle up close and personal attracts many customers to their stores.
In 2015, the AEF participated in 8 Field & Stream Events! As follows:
- March 26th: Challenger attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Troy, Michigan.
- July 23rd: America attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Mobile, Alabama.
- August 6th: Challenger attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Hoover, Alabama.
- August 27th: Challenger attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Charleston, North Carolina.
- October 8th: Challenger attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Greensboro, North Carolina.
- October 8th: Spirit attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Asheville, North Carolina.
- October 8th: Mr. Lincoln attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Champagne, Illinois.
- October 15th: Mr. Lincoln attends Grand Opening Ceremony in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
