AEF Facilities

The American Eagle Foundation is located in Pigeon Forge.
We hope you will enjoy the photos below.

Road to AEF

On a 12-acre plot of land nestled in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is home to the American Eagle Foundation. This road leads to the facilities for the AEF. Dollywood provides funding for the American Eagle Foundation and we are located on their property.

Our office

Our main office houses a library, conference room, several staff offices, a staff kitchen, a merchandise room, and an eagle incubation room and rearing section room in the back.

One of the barns

This is where we house all non-releasable trained birds. We have space for 37 birds, many of which are used for school programs. Each bird has its own enclosure and the birds are taken outside on a regular basis. Those that can fly are free-flown outside and during programs. The others that can't fly are put outside just to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.
