You can make a donation to the non-profit American Eagle Foundation (AEF) at any time during the school year. You may want to organize a classroom or school fund-raising project to support our eagle restoration and protection programs, either to underwrite the expense of bringing our Birds Of Prey Program to your school, or Adopting An Eagle.

Choose a "Save The Eagle ®" fundraiser that suits your classroom or school. You may decide on one or more of the following activities:

1. sell the AEF's "SaveAmerica's Eagles ®" Tee-Shirts
2. sell other merchandise items available through the AEF's on-line gift shop
3. conduct a quarter or dollar collection drive
4. sell baked goods
5. conduct a raffle
6. conduct a recyclable cans and paper collection / redemption drive,
7. conduct a sponsored walk, run or read-a-thon
8. conduct a pizza or pool party
9. conduct a teacher rent-a-student service
10. operate a shoeshine stand
11. sell candy and school supplies
12. sell nesting tree seedlings
13. sell hand-made birds of prey lapel buttons
14. sell hand-made greeting cards or stationary
15. March of Dollars
    

If you choose to sell the AEF's "Save America's Eagles ®" Tee-Shirts or other official merchandise either to bring our Birds Of Prey Program to your school or to Adopt An Eagle, just call us for a copy of our "official order form" and begin taking orders right away. There's no up-front money required or purchase of merchandise in advance before you can begin selling. You can sell our beautiful, high-quality and educational merchandise items at school, home, events or the work places of parents, friends and relatives. We will pay for the shipping, and the items will be delivered to your school within three weeks after you place your order with us.

We recommend that you sell each shirt for $16.00. After you have calculated the total amount of expense required to bring our Birds Of Prey Program to your school or to Adopt An Eagle, you will need to sell two (2) shirts for every $15.00 of expense. Simply divide the total bird program expense by $15.00 and then multiply that number by two (2) to determine the total number of shirts that you will need to sell.

How It Works
To compute the donation amount that will be applied toward an "Adopt An Eagle" donation or other American Eagle Foundation (AEF) program donation expense from the sale of any AEF merchandise item, simply divide the "suggested retail price" of the item in half and apply that amount to the total donation amount needed.

Example:
When you sell a "Save America's Eagles" tee-shirt for $16 (our suggested retail price), $8 on that sale will be applied toward your "Adopt An Eagle" donation. If you adopt an individual eagle for a $250 donation, you will need to sell 32 tee-shirts ... or 64 shirts to adopt a breeding pair of eagles for a $500 donation.

The above-mentioned formula will only apply if you use the "suggested retail price" specified by the AEF.
